I get really excited when Halloween comes around (for my mom's complete christian lady's despair). Not because of the holiday itself - the whole thing seems to have a dark side origin - but because of the kids. Last year was my first Halloween ever and I was thrilled to be able to give away candies and see those little smiley faces. Gosh, kids are so cool and so much fun!  I hope it doesn't rain this year like it did the last, that way I'll be able to give away more candy and not have so many leftovers. God knows I can't afford to have all those candies again!
