 Amy from  Life on Willowdale blog has this great tutorial on how to make a romper/sleeper from a used t-shirt for your baby that I think is great. Super easy to make and her kiddo seems to love. I have a bunch of hubbies shirts that I've been separating for donation that I will go through and fish out some to make rompers for Selah. Tell me what you all think.

I couldn't help but being awed by these baby pictures of Queen Elizabeth II, in celebration of her 84th birthday, according to Yahoo.com. Wasn't she a cutie-pie?

I totally snapped the other night and ordered several Blythe dolls (how expensive those little suckers are!) as well as some Master Piece and probably a Berenguer one (I've lost track by now). I know, I know... I have never before blogged about my (re) new-found love for dolls. It all started back in February when husband gave me a... how do we say... remake of  the 1966's stewardess Barbie doll. She is gorgeous! I need to take pics. Then came Master Piece's baby Sidney and Berenguer's baby Leonor. As I post is too late to shoot some pics. I like the day light. Gosh, 3 of them are scheduled to arrived any time!!! I cannot waaaaaay!!!!!!

Tenho que postar essas fotos de um artigo no site Yahoo. Para a comemoração dos 84 anos da rainha Elizabeth II da Inglaterra, serão publicadas algumas fotos da soberana quando ainda bebê. Aqui estão algumas delas. Que bebê mais fofo, não?!

Eu pirei totalmente noutra noite e encomendei algumas bonecas Blythe (eita bonequinhas caras!), algumas Master Piece e, provavelmente, uma Berenguer (Já perdi até a conta). Eu sei, eu sei... Eu nunca postei sobre meu renovado amor por bonecas. Tudo começou em fevereiro, quando meu marido me deu de presente de aniversário uma Barbie aeromoça, reedição de1966. Ela é linda! Eu tenho que tirar fotografias. Daí, veio a bebê Sidney (Master Piece) e a bebê Leonor (Berenguer). Enqunto post já é tarde pra tirar fotos. eu gosto da luz do dia. Meus Deeeus, 3 delas estão pra chegar a qualquer momento, hoje!!!! Mal posso esperaaaaar!!

This little doily is the new addition to the M. Kellman store. It was the first time I've crocheted something out of a Japanese book. Turns out it wasn't so hard as I thought it would be... I guess because in Brazil we do learn that knowing how to read the graphics is just as important as reading the instructions. And since I don't know many words in that language, it came in handy that Japaneses deal with crochet like Brazilians do. Anyways here's two of the pictures I've taken:

Esse centrinho de mesa é a mais nova peça disponível na minha loja. Foi a primeira vez que fiz algo tirado de um livro japonês. Não foi tão difícil como à pricípio eu pensei que seria, não... Eu acho que pelo fato de as japonesas executarem suas peças em crochet do mesmo modo que a gente aprende no Brasil (dando tanta importância aos gráficos quanto às explicações), foi moleza. Se tivesse que ler as instruções, estava lascada porque eu não falo japonês (quem sabe, um dia!)! Aqui estão duas fotos:

Also, I've been working on some caps, shoes, blankets and all sorts of baby stuff for babies in need and preemies. There are some great people online (and off) contributing to help these little angels and their parents so I thought it was high time I did something myself.

Também venho trabalhando em alguns sapatinhos, toucas, mantas e todo tipo de coisas de bebê para bebês em dificuldades ou prematuros. Têm muita gente boa online (e off, também) ajudando esses pequenos anjos e seus pais que, muitas vezes, não têm condições para comprar items básicos para seus bebês. Então, cheguei à conclusão de que já passou da hora de eu começar a ajudar, também. 
Abaixo listo alguns sites com receitas, informações e etc sobre como ajudar. Fico devendo uma lista de organizações brasileiras.

Já adicionei um cobertor para prematuros e duas outras touquinhas depois que tirei essa foto. O que posso dizer... Meu crochet é lento... (que vergonha!)
