Dolly Mish Mash: Tutorial: Liquor Cabinet

I'm playing with dolls again. And now that I have a playmate, my 6-year-old Cece, it makes it all the more fun. I came across this piece of furniture and had to reblog. It's so adorable!!

Dolly Mish Mash: Tutorial: Liquor Cabinet: Okay, so I finally put together the tutorial for the liquor cabinet I talked about previously.  I do have to do a disclaimer th...

I’m back, babies!

I just cannot believe how long it has been since the last time I have posted here! So much has happened since then and I am pretty sure the same has happened to you as well.

Last time I was very much pregnant with my first baby (I have 2, now) and let me tell you: that was a hard one! It felt like my body was fighting a strange body. My daughter was born prematurely and had to stay in the NICU for what seemed like forever. I was heartbroken. Doing kangaroo care on a daily basis was very comforting, though. She is 6 years old now (can you believe it?!) and healthy as can be.

By the time she was almost 3 and  I thought I was done (even though I did want a boy), lo and behold: I find myself pregnant again. Thtime was so much more different, though. I guess my body had grown used to producing babies at that point. Lol

I couldn’t be happier. I could definitely use some sleep 😋 but being a parent is amazing! Just look at them at their favorite bbq joint. True little Southerners.

I’m also back in business. I don’t sell knitted and crocheted accessories anymore. I now make jewelry and beads. I want to take pottery lessons at some point because ceramic beads are so yummy!
I went to Real Estate school but decided it was not for me.

Anyways, here are some of my latest creations:

It is good to be back! :)

Novidades

There's just so much to do and my belly grows bigger each passing day! There are so many things happening now: I've finally got my America driver's license, yay!! It was a day after my birthday and I consider it a birthday gift from my Dad up there. Husband's been slacking on getting his stuff out of his former office and nursery-to-be. It pisses me off because I've offered to help but he refuses it. The damn room looks like one of those crowded rooms you would see in an episode of that Hoarders show. Talking about that, My studio is getting better organized slowly but surely. I'll be posting pictures soon.
In other news, I'm in the process of permanently deleting my Etsy accounts and shops. I'm fed up with their crap (we'll see how it goes). I'll be selling on Artfire and other marketplaces.
My latest items:

Fiskars Everywhere Punch Scalloped Circle Cartridge 2" (5 cm)

$10.00

 Old Charm Lace Tags

$5.00

And there's more.

Let's embroider and beautify our homes, ladies.

MB by brigid: De-stash and Donate

I had to re-post this story. This little angel baby died of heart problem and their parents want to donate baby clothes to the hospital that took such good care of the child. For more details, go read the post below. Much love, M.

MB by brigid: De-stash and Donate: "As winter is winding down, are you wondering what to do with your extra stash of yarn? I've recently been contacted by a family who lost ..."

Ok, ok, it has nothing to do with the subject above but as I listen to "Tarde em Itapuã", God, I wish I could click my heels 3 times and be in my beloved Rio de Janeiro right now. It's my freaking birthday, for Heaven's sake! I should be allowed to do just that!

Just like Dorothy, I'd say "there's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home" and bang, baby!
